The Avid Video Engine was unable to stop
The error is STILL there; hopeless for film (yes, yes, the right codecs and hardware etc, mxf). Unbelievably, also STILL asks for a Quicktime install. Nor do the windows float & still look like win7 ... Lazy.
I'm out of here, no more licence renewals. Neundo 10 is working extremely well for me & can easily handle movie files, in any compressed codec format for that matter, smaller .mp4s etc.

Mmm, yes I am having this a little too..
I also get the unable to launch video engine message occasionally, which requires a full system restart. (I have been having this for quite a while now and suspect it is related to communication with the video hardware - Blackmagic mini monitor)
