Default How to make midi notes look big

Hi,

I know how to make the midi notes look bigger.

What I don't know is this - When I press E, I automatically view midi in full screen. However, the notes are really small and I have to manually make them bigger every time so that editing is possible

The question: Is there a way to make the midi notes bigger by default? This way, every time I click E to go to full screen, the notes are big enough for editing

Awesome! Thank you :)

Do you know if it is possible to do what my question asks? To set the notes to be always a bigger size when opening up full screen? Currently the default does not cut it

Once you set a note size for the MIDI editor it should stay that size. Does on my setup.

It never does on mine.
I have to constantly adjust the midi note size as they always appear tiny in Full screen (From pressing 'E')

I'm on PT 2020.5.0

Does should = designed like that? That would indicate my version has a bug?

Stays the size I set once. Unless I delete the preferences. What exact PT version and operating system are you using? PT 2021.6 on OSX 10.13.6 which is an unsupported combo but it works just fine for me.

It could be your combo of OSX and PT as checking the compatibility page it shows PT 2020.5 as being compatible with OSX 10.14.6. You may want to try updating your OSX install - grab the combo updater and use it (after you make a bootable clone of your system).

I've just wiped my laptop.

New specs: Big Sur 11.6 & Pro Tools 2021.7

The problem still exists. Midi notes always look small when in full screen.

Does Avid actually provide a way to set this so it's able to be set? Or is it a luck of the draw?
