Hey man,
I spoke with Jay at digi today and Mark months ago.

Jay instructed me to plug an optical cable out of the digi PCI back into itself. I then sent a signal generator out of Audio 1. ADAT 1 and Rec Enabled audio 2, input set to Adat 1.

the optical portion of the 001 seemed to work perfectly.

However, I just went and borrowed a third ADAT and the signal still drops out when using the adat optical out to 001

Can you shed any light on this problem whatsoever.
I'd love to take advantage of those extra 8 in's and don't have the dough for a fancy A/D converter.
There must be a logical reason or perhalps an over looked setting.

I Am UNABLE to link an adat to my 001 via the lightpipe without spontanious signal drop outs.
The ADAT sends at 16 bit/48K and the 001 is set to recieve.

Please Help.
