If you are using PTHD9, what other hardware are you using?

I think that the Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 would possibly conflict with something if it wasn't routed properly as an audio interface.

May need to provide a bit more information to solve the problem though.

Hi gary,

The first thing to check is whether your Saffire Pro 14 is connecting to your computer:
- Is the 'FW' led switched on the front of your Saffire?
- Does it appear in your system profile (Apple logo > About This Mac > More Info... > Hardware)?
- Have you got the latest version of Saffire MixControl installed?
- Does Saffire MixControl open correctly?

If the Saffire doesn't appear to be connecting to your computer then it would seem that there is some kind of connection difficulty. Try the following:
- If possible, try the Saffire on another computer
- If possible, try using a different firewire cable (if you are using a 400/800 cable or adapter, bear in mind the advice on the following answerbase article: http://www.focusrite.com/answerbase/...le.php?id=1017)

If you're still having difficulties, please don't hesitate to contact us using the contact form on our answerbase detailing the problems that you're experiencing, specifications of your system and any troubleshooting that you've tried.

Wow Joe, nice to see Focusrite stepping up with their support. This makes me glad I'm considering buying a Liquid Saffire 56 in the near future if you will be around to provide support for Focusrite products!
