Default November/Black Friday Sales 2016 and 2017!

Hi,
So it seems this time of year has come round quicker than ever. There's plenty of good offerings out there even though Black Friday hasn't arrived yet.

I passed on upgrading to the Eventide Anthology X Bundle last year and there seems to be a cheaper way in by buying the cheap plugins from the collection and upgrading thereafter with the subsequent discounts. That said, I'm not sure how much I would use the plugins from the bundle, especially considering I never use the channel strip or reverbs I have from them? I'd probably be most interested in the Harmonizers but even then these are pretty much covered by the stuff I have as the AlterBoy from SoundToys and such. Anyhow it is back already for those interested.

So Arturia is tempting me again with it's discounted upgrade once again.

I'm hoping Native-Instruments are going to provide the 50% discounts on upgrades that we saw 2 years ago as last year was a washout and my bundle stuck on V9 accordingly.

Anyhow, there'll be plenty from Waves, SoundToys and the like for those in the market.

So post your bargain links and discoveries please!

Stephen

Yeah - I started getting Black Friday sales email blasts last week already. As to Eventide I'm tempted by Omnipressor and Blackhole reverb. Everything else I'd want from them I already have (H3000, Ultraverb and Ultrachannel). One of those latter I got as a freebie a while back. The H3000 takes a bit of work but haven't found much it can't do within the realm it's designed for.

Also got an email from Exponential Audio teasing what they're calling a 'very special deal' that they can't talk about until the sale begins on the 25th. That's right - their sale doesn't begin until the actual Black Friday. Wonder if they're going the subscription route as well?

One developer I really would like to see do a BF sale is HOFA as I don't ever recall seeing their prices cut down from the listed price on their site. As a matter of fact I've never seen their plugins sold anywheres else but their site.

This deal is pretty bonkers considering what most of us paid for it over the years!

Been on that route for a year. But that doesn't mean we've removed traditional licensing. Go with whichever way works for you.

Thanks for the good news. At least one developer that shall remain nameless (the material that's used for old time blackboards and pool tables) has buried being able to buy outright; they're pushing subscription like crazy.

It is just that one-trick pony what you want when you need that one-trick pony

I've seen this complaint a few times, and I don't quite understand it. Go to slatedigital.com, click on the 'our store' tab (1st one at the top)... Literally everything they sell is available there to buy outright. They haven't 'buried' anything.

Of course they're pushing the sub model - it's new for them, and it would seem to be an awfully popular concept in the software industry as a whole, as much as we might all dislike it.

Trust me - I get it. I'm an Adobe CC user.
