PT 7.1.1 with key rig?

Has anyone gotten m-audio's key rig to work with pro tools 7.1.1? I know it's installed ok on my computer because it works in standalone. I called m-audio and they told me to install the VST format as well as the RTAS. I tried and this didn't work either. They also told me that key rig isn't compatible with the intel macs, but it works in standalone, so why shouldn't it work in RTAS? Maybe i'm hoping for too much and should just wait until the update comes out... Thanks for any ideas.
