I started a new session where I recorded some horn sounds into an audio track from an external keyboard, then loaded a plugin on a new instrument track to add some drums. After that I created a second audio track to record a new sound from the same keyboard.
But when I record arm the second audio track and play the keyboard both the plugin on the instrument track and the keyboard on the audio track sound. Unless I set the MIDI output on the instrument track to none. Also, I can't hear the keyboard on the audio track during playback. Oddly enough, it will record the audio from the keyboard even though I can't hear it, and I can hear the recorded audio during play back. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. |

Deselect the instrument track so that it wont play when recording audio or set Midi Midi output to none as you did. Check your audio input monitoring in the Track menu option. Do yourself a favor and read the manual.
