888|16 and HD?

Hi,

I´ve got an HD2 with a 192 I/O and PT6.7 on XP.

I´m thinking in buying a cheap 888|16 to add my old 16 bits devices to my system (Midiverb III, D-4 etc) but I´m not sure that it will work with XP.

Does somebody know if the 888|16 would work as a legacy device with my 192?

I´ve founded this in the answerbase:

"Q: I know the 888/24 can connect to the Legacy port on the new 96 and 192 interfaces, but what about the older 888?

A: Right now only the 888/24, 882/20, 1622, and ADAT bridge are supported."


But it is 01/29/2002, so maybe it´s changed...
