Default Use Protools without connecting audio interface

Is it possible to use ProTools without connecting the audio interface?

I have PTMP with an m-audio FW410.

I want to be able to open up PT sessions and edit things that don't require the interface, like MIDI notes. I also want to be able to playback sessions without needing the interface.

Thanks

Unfortunately the answer is no.

The closest you would get to being portable is with a MBox2 Micro.

I use a Transit for on the go with my laptop. Works great. If you're using a second computer, you just install PTMP on it and take your Transit and iLok.

Pro Tools needs three things to run.
1. A good installation
2. A correct audio interface
3. An I LOK
