It doesn't actually get imported, if you have the rtas version installed properly it will show up in the plug-in drop-down menu to be inserted on an instrument track.

Make sure that the Superior Drummer 2 plug-in is in your digidesign plug-ins folder.

Tx for feedback! Well I work with PC (not Mac).
Well, the PlugIn folder is: C:\Programme\Common Files\DigiDesign\DAE\Plug-Ins

Did copy the .dll (Suprior Toontrack, EzDrummer, Guitar Rig) => opened Pro Tools => Still no Virtual Instruments visible (Suprior Toontrack, EzDrummer, Guitar Rig)

Short:
is there no documentation from Pro Tools side? I mean, this should be THE Tool. But where's the help for this?

I believe there are installation notes in the Superior Drummer 2.0 package?

just clicking the installer will install things in the right place (I'm using superoior custom & vintage, and Superior 2).

You need to select an "instrument track" for the plugin to be visable in the plugin list, it won't appear in the list on other track types

If you're a registered (legal) owner of a Toontrack product, they'll help you on their forum.

.dll are VST instruments. RTAS are .dpm. Are you running the installer correctly and selecting RTAS?

no need to copy anything - the installer does it for you, and as mentioned above toontrack has a good support forum, but you just need to run the installer
