Default Do I need an external clock?

Hi, I have an Apogee Ad16 connected to my 192 I/O. I put the Apogee as Master and the 192 as slave (via adat).

I am considering to buy a 96 i/o to expand my system and I don´t know if I can slave it to the 192 or I better buy an external clock. What should I do?

I would use the dedicated WC connection from the Apogee to the 192 instead relying on lightpipe to carry the clock signal. If/when you add the 96i/o you'd loop sync it to the 192.
