MIDI interface should be different colour
When working with the MIDI editor I keep clicking on the (same) buttons above, of the Edit main window, like 'pen' and 'hand'... I would think giving the MIDI editor a different overall color - like blue - would make it much easier to see in what window you are working...
Or do i oversee something as a newbie? |

Hard to say. I've been using Pro Tools for 16 years and never gave this a thought(which doesn't mean its not a good idea) But most of my midi work takes place on the Instrument track(I rarely ever open the big midi edit window)

You could try making the MIDI editor full screen. It might not suit your purposes but I quite like having it really massive, plus it covers up the buttons on the edit window.
