Default Anybody using Toontrack EZ Drummer

Just interested to know if anybody is using the above. I'm interested to know what it's like performance wise in Pro tools, CPU hog or does it work well. Toontrack have announced the drumkit from hell expansion pack for release in september so it seems like a pretty good buy, well reviewed in SOS as well.

Thanks in advance

I am - works great - my only complaint is that they chose to release the sounds contained in the EZdrummer as EZdrummer only until the release of their Drumkit From Hell Superior 2.0 - I like the them much better than the sounds in the previous Superior formatted releases, and it's such a bummer to have to wait for the 24-bit raw sounds until the next version of DFHS is released. That having been said, the pre-processing is minimal and tastefull and can be added to very easily and the sounds, even at 16-bit are tremendous - great company.

Hey Dubnick, Do you ever encounter any trouble with the midi that you drag and drop from ez drummer? When I add like a 1/4 fill to a region it takes up twice the space as it supposed to and is erasing a portion of my existing midi that I want to keep . Then when I do cut and paste work arounds that portion of midi dissapears when I start recording.

Thanks for the replies, i've been spending a fortune on third party apps recently and they all seem to be really quirky and annoying when it comes to RTAS. Strike is an abvious choice but im not overly keen on being tied to RTAS as i occasionally use Logic. Any more feedback on this app would be appreciated.

Cheers
