Upgrade from 001 to 002 question...

If I'm planning on upgrading from a 001 to 002 (not R), and run PT 5.3.2, do I need to upgrade my non Digi-rack plugins or can I simply install it over my existing ProTools and lave my plugins intact.

My hunch is that my other plugins would be OK since both PT versions work on OS9. The third party Plugins supported on my 001 would still be supported on the 002 when using PT 5.3.2.

Unless im mistaken,
digi 002 or 002R will not run any version of Protools in OS9.

the 002 came out while PT5.x was still supported. the 002 rack however won´t run in OS9.

Which version of Pro Tools were you running before?

All plug-ins after 5.3 won't run with previous Pro Tools builds (and vica versa). The DAE was changed to a DLL with 5.3
