Is PT compatible with Catalina 10.15.5?

I've just installed 10.15.5 on my mac and my PT (installed a new version 2018.12) won't start. With no Time Machine restore option available, I'm assuming I am screwed?

PT 2020.5 working fine here on 10.15.5 although not supported

Hi Janne - that could be a clue - so did you have to install all the 2020.5 drivers etc. for it to work or that was the version you had already?

I made a clean install of 10.15.4 and ran 2020.3 with it first, then updated to 10.15.5 and 2020.5 without issues

Compatibility info here. Just noticed you are using 2018 version which is not going to work with Catalina

Thanks - I’ll install the 2020.5 version, see how I go - this is potentially my turning to Logic Pro and abandoning PT moment

Thanks for that clue Janne - I’ve updated driver from PT 2018.12 to 2020.5 and that works with Catalina 10.15.5

I am experimenting with running PT 10 on a new mac running 10.15 and I am getting an error saying it won't run as it needs 10.7 or newer- obviously I have that. Any clues? I am NOT upgrading my PT to a new version.

PT10 needs 10.8 and might work on 10.9 but no chance with 10.10 and later
