Default HELP!!! Weird error not allowing PT to function

Hello everyone, this is an urgent plea for help. I have clients in the studio right now and out of the blue I keep getting this error message:

"Could not complete the New Session...command because Neo Assertion in /Volumes/Development/vb_cliff/AlturaPorts...."

And it continues on for a few more lines. I've never seen or heard of this error before but does anyone know of an easy way to correct it? If not I'm alright with reinstalling pro tools, however...I downloaded 7.0 when it came out but since it was a while ago there is no history of the transaction when I sign onto Digidesign. I have the musician's toolkit as well as the 7.3 upgrade and they aren't showing up in my order history either so I have no clue what to do to re-install pro tools!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. The last thing I want to do today is send this band home with nothing accomplished and I personally can't afford that. Thank-you!!!

Bret

Update, I found where my files available for download are, so re-installing is an option, but if anyone knows of a quicker fix please let me know, thank-you!!

Please start with the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum, specifically those areas on trashing preference and database files.
