Quantizing makes notes into blips
(See my profile for specs)
1>I lay down a MIDI track with keyboard and it plays back fine and all looks normal in the MIDI view. 2> I try to quantize to any degree of accuracy and the notes adjust slightly, but still look relatively the way they should as far as duration...however... 3> When I play the quantized information back there are only brief "blips" of sound on each note activation...Its like all note duration information is gone. Looking at the MIDI view, I see that the first part of each note is darker for some reason. This may be the blip but why is it ignoring the rest of the note? Does anyone know what I am missing or what the problem is? Thank You. |

Re: Quantizing makes notes into blips
Somehow your MIDI input is doubled - might be that your MIDI keyboard is connected both via USB and MIDI cable. To prevent this, on the track MIDI input select just your specific keyboard instead of "All Inputs". To remedy existing double notes, select the clips and choose "Remove Duplicate Notes" in the Event upper menu.
