Default Retrieving sessions from dead CPU

I had a G4 die after 7 loyal years. Power supply. Any way...

My sessions are on an internal hard drive. I got advice in another related thread to remove & mount the drive in an external enclosure, then connect to the new CPU via USB. But I can't find such a device, probably because I don't know what I'm looking for. Any advice would be appreciated.

Look on craigslist for an external hard drive with fire400, really cheap nowadays, that's all you need, I picked one up for $15, just make sure it's either IDE, or SATA on the en-closer that match your hard drive? cable that is?

Another option is this universal adapter:

A G4 will most likely (dare I say I can guarantee this to be the case) have an IDE/ATA type drive. Something like this:

should do the trick, I think.

Best,

Nathan
