Weird Operational Issue
I have been using Pro Tools since that named each version numerically (v6) and there is always something new. I use a PC with the most recent Windows update. My Pro Tools version is 2019. When I click play on the transport or hit the space bar to start a track, the play button blinks and stop on the transport lights up. I can’t do anything. Then, when I save the file and exit, it won’t close. I have to use the Task Manager to close it. Any ideas?

Re: Weird Operational Issue
Not much help will happen with nearly zero details on the system Read at the Help Us Help You link near the top of this(and every) DUC page.
Any time this happens for me, I close Pro Tools and re-open. That works 99.5% of the time.

Re: Weird Operational Issue
I’ve seen this happen before.
Try changing your playback engine to something else, quit PT, launch again and then change it back to the interface you were using. Alternatively, check the clock sync settings. Try setting to internal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
