This is true, you can also add the Artist Control for the ultimate set up. I have an artist mix and transport combined, I'd consider a second artist mix but for lack of space. The only thing missing from the artist mix is fader mute.

You taken a look at the DOCK ?
It's obviously pricier than the Artist T, but built solidly (especially the Jog wheel), has a small footprint, and does all you're asking.

... just ignore the (single) fader & the auto modes buttons...
