Phil he's only trying to help & pointing u directly to a question that, only since ur new, is not a unnecessary question, but if u were not new, it would be because if u know this software or any DAW(most) they have more important things on their plate same as OS developers... Point is S.L. JUST came out dude... Thatz not the way the DAW world works(@ least not the real DAW world... If this post offends u any then that just shows us where u are, so hopefully not, but if so u know me by now & know I don't care much... Truth is just that...Truth...

Well I just got a new to me, not brand new MBP 17" 2.5 Intel 4gb RAM for a mobile rig so I am a little excited.

Phil, what interface are you using? The upgrade to Snow Leopard was completely painless for me, and I was using a firewire 410. I actually just bought and received the fast track ultra today, installed the drivers for 10.5.6, and it seems to be working fine.

The only issues I have seen are a few plugins with goofed up GUI, but not ones I use a lot so no big deal.

Anyway, with the SL upgrade I have had no real problems, and PTs appears to run even smoother than it did before.
