Default PT9 Apogee Inserts I/O mappings problem

Hi,

I ran into this problem as I was setting up the I/O for my rig.

I use PT9 and Apogee Symphony with AD16x and DA16x in Advanced mode, but while I was creating paths for the Inserts I/O, I realized that analogue outs of the DA16x 1-16 are correlated to the AES inputs 1-16 of the DA16x, so if I want to use hardware inserts, my analogue outs collide with the AES inputs, which doesn't seem correct.

This categorization mapped by Apogee, when using Advanced mode:

Symphony inputs 1-16 correspond to the AD’s analog inputs 1-16; --------Symphony outputs 1-16 correspond to the AD’s digital outputs 1-16;---------- Symphony inputs 17-32 correspond to the DA’s digital inputs 1-16; ---------Symphony outputs 17-32 correspond to the DA’s analog outputs 1-16

Is there a way to alter the input/output configurations of the insert I/O paths, in PT9?
Or a workaround with Apogee's mapping?

Thank you

Not sure about when using the Symphony card, but when using the AD-16 and DA-16 with X-HD cards, the interfaces have to be in standard routing for Pro Tools to see the ins and outs as a single unified interface.

I see, so I must contact Apogee for info about the possibility of different mappings in Advanced methodology.
