Default Protools 10.3.2 and Waves Diamond aaxplugins 9.3

Hi everyone, and good day to you!

We just upgraded from Waves Platinum to Waves Diamond, got the waves license through the license manager on to the mac and it works fine in Logic, but on launching Protools i get the following message:

Pro Tools could not load the following plug-ins either because no valid authorization could be found, the iLok key was not connected or the plug-in was damaged:

WaveShell-AAX 9.3.aaxplugin

I checked the digidesign Plug-ins Folder, but there is not even a WaveShell-AAX folder there, only the WaveShell DAE-folder

Does anybody have experience with this issue?

Thanks for your reply,
Nadja

AAX plug-ins don't reside in the Digidesign folder. They can be found in Library/Application Support/Avid/Plug-ins

Ok thanks - yes, i found them. Do you suggest I empty this folder and recopy everything from the Waves Application Folder into it?

I tried recopying the WaveShell-Folder (Package), but PT still doesn't recognize the license...

I would undo whatever copying you did, uninstall Waves, and reinstall Waves.

Copying files is a good way to really screw things up...

Just rockin'...what more is there?
