Default Software that put\'s \"beep\'s\" in the song.

I'm looking for software that places "beeps" in the audio ever 10 seconds or so. I need to be able to let the customer to hear the product by leaving them a CD, but I want to make sure that the CD is unusable for any medium, but good enough sounding to "approve". Dig what I'm saying?

Thanks!

jason

I think so. Another option might be to just slate the intro. Take # so & so , guitar eq down 2 db @ 250hz, blah blah blah.

Hmm.

You could probably do it using the things already there.

Make a short beep sound somehow. Perhaps using the click plugin. Pad it up to say ten seconds with silence and consolidate the region. Now you can make as many copies of this after each other as you want.

The quick fix is to simply include this in the mix. The beep will come on top of the other sounds.

The longer solution is to both use it in the mix and to have it in the side chain of a processor on the main mix, making the beep turn down the sound of the song to zero.

Well, sorry if my description is a bit unreadable.

Use the signal generator, set to noise. Record a few seconds. Drop the region periodically on an empty audio track.

Or use the signal generator, and draw some mute animation.

Good ideas.

I was thinking about that sound generator and I also thought about using a trumpet stab via Reason or something. Recording one, then copying the region throughout the song.

Just thought I'd see if there was a utility that just DID IT. But I can do it this way easy.

Thanks guys!

Just be careful not to make it a discernable instrument.

Download the Altiverb reverb plugin demo. Use it on the master fader with the verb set to zero. It will bleep for you every 10 seconds or so.
