Worked at a radio station in Ontario and one morning it was -40. And -40 is the same in Fahrenheit or Celsius (which we use now). 10 miles north of me was the 49th parallel, the border between the northwest US and western Canada. I then started to realize just how far north places like Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse and Juneau Alaska really are and how cold they can really be.

Stay warm and watch out for the wind chill.
