creating dae objects.......

Hi to all.

first time i open ptools LE in the morning, starts to load and when it gets to "creating DAE objects" ptools freezes! No messages, no shutdowns! just freezes! i ctrl+alt+delete and it shows "protools LE is not responding" and cpu it's at 7-8%

I then restart the PC, open ptools again and everything goes ok!

Anyone with this trouble?

Not sure but it may be a firewire hangup...u could try switching ur firewire location that the interface is running to on ur computer or even the firewire cable itself if it continues to happen...

You should start with the steps in the Win XP/ Pro Tools 6.x/7.x General Troubleshooting thread and post specific info on your system per the info on that thread if you're unable to resolve the problem.

You may want to look at the Help us help you thread as well.

Well, i use the stock onboard firewire coming with motherboard asus p5k. i know many use them as i see here in the forum, without issues.

i've tried one thing:

1st-switch on 002R
2nd-switch on PC
3rd-load ptools


And it worked, so i suppose it's a firewire problem??
