Default video capture on intel-mac

since there is no UB version of BTV pro what's the best software on intel-macs to capture video
(using a canopus)?

iMovie HD.
It's free and it's already in your Mac.

Doesn´t iMovie only capture 2GB maximum before it splits the file?

QTpro is also an option.

No, with Imovie HD now capture as long as you want. (i think it's since iLife06)
The only problem is the it creats a Imovie Project, then you have to right click it>show package content>media: e there you will find the DV FILE

Good to know. Just as Frank I thought the 2GB limit still exits... that's why I didn't bother to try
