Cantar audio from Avid MC help needed
I'm trying out something for a project that's about to start:
Editor started a project shot on Alexa with Cantar audio. He synced up the Cantar mixdown files (track 7&8) with the video, but renamed them - sigh - (inside the MC). When he exports an AAF for me, I can relink in ProTools to the originals, but not all of them and it's clumsy (only TC as a match, too many candidates) I also have a copy of MC and wonder if there's any way for me to relink/replace in the MC timeline and making a correct AAF myself? I received an MC copy of his first edit (.avb), along with the "OMFI Mediafiles" folder. Any insights? Thanks! |
