Default CPU overload in protools 6 with OSX

Anyone else still having trouble with CPU overload
error box popping up in protools 6.0.1 using OSX.2.5

The previous thread discussing this seems to have stopped, or gone very quiet!

Has anyone had a solution that doesn't involve
either disabling processors or taking out the
sync i/o?

I think we all ended up disabling the second processor which got rid of the error and allowed us to keep using the Sync IO. Computer performance is about a 25-30% decrease. We're still waiting for an update from DIGI to fix this problem. They say it is a priority.

mmmm. So far the problem hasn't occurred when
the system has been sync rolling, only when editing or just sitting idle. Have been restriping all morning
(7 x 1/2hr t.v. programs) and it hasn't missed a
beat. Might sit tight and wait with breathless anticipation for a fix from digi. Gotta say, I
love the extra speed things happen in with OSX and protools 6 with the dual processor.

cheers, John.

I've only got a single processor 733 QS. I haven't fixed it but I've only gotten the CPU error message once since I last posted about a week ago.

Very random and non-repeatable. Just stops audio, shows error message and then goes away...

Weird.
