I'm still using QuicKeys on Lion, wasn't aware that QK 4 is not compatible,
but as The golfer, me too I'm using Eucon with PT.
...but the rest of my shortcuts are working with Lion as before with Snow Leop.

I don't use a ton of shortcuts, but it's all fine in Lion for me. Not even sure what version of QK I'm on... heh heh.

I've been using QuicKeys v4 with PT10 and 10.7, 10.7.1, 10.7.2. Every release has been fine, except for one issue. QK takes a bit longer to launch in 10.7 than it did in 10.6. No big whoop as long as I keep it from being a startup item.

In other news, here is the reason why we don't have a new version of QK that is Lion compatible

I trashed almost all of my QuicKeys shortcuts a long time ago.
I use AppleScripts that work much better and I am more flexible this way. Yes, it is more work to create those scripts but it pays off in the end as I can use them on every Mac I use, thus being independent.

Quickeys has been working fine with Lion for me for a long, long time. I'm sure at some point compatibility will break without active support, but for the time being it's working.

As someone else pointed out, QK basically works, but Toolbars are completely broken. Some of us use Toolbars a *lot*.

best,

Ah I forgot about those, I only ever used it to make shortcuts for PT. Pro Tools really needs to add the ability to add custom shortcuts like Logic or Reaper ...
