Re: Quickeys no Lion version? Alternatives?
I'm still using QuicKeys on Lion, wasn't aware that QK 4 is not compatible,
but as The golfer, me too I'm using Eucon with PT. ...but the rest of my shortcuts are working with Lion as before with Snow Leop.

Re: Quickeys no Lion version? Alternatives?
I don't use a ton of shortcuts, but it's all fine in Lion for me. Not even sure what version of QK I'm on... heh heh.

Re: Quickeys no Lion version? Alternatives?
I've been using QuicKeys v4 with PT10 and 10.7, 10.7.1, 10.7.2. Every release has been fine, except for one issue. QK takes a bit longer to launch in 10.7 than it did in 10.6. No big whoop as long as I keep it from being a startup item.
In other news, here is the reason why we don't have a new version of QK that is Lion compatible QuicKeys 4 Lion News

Re: Quickeys no Lion version? Alternatives?
I trashed almost all of my QuicKeys shortcuts a long time ago.
I use AppleScripts that work much better and I am more flexible this way. Yes, it is more work to create those scripts but it pays off in the end as I can use them on every Mac I use, thus being independent. Oliver |

Re: Quickeys no Lion version? Alternatives?
Quickeys has been working fine with Lion for me for a long, long time. I'm sure at some point compatibility will break without active support, but for the time being it's working.

Re: Quickeys no Lion version? Alternatives?
Ah I forgot about those, I only ever used it to make shortcuts for PT. Pro Tools really needs to add the ability to add custom shortcuts like Logic or Reaper ...
