Default D24 / Project II same card???

Hey, i'm looking at my D24 card, and a picture of a "project II" card, and in every way, these things look identical. The layout of all the chips, footprint, etc, etc... is it possible to use a "project II" with a DSP farm to run TDM 6.1 or is there something programmed into the project II cards to disable them from operating with the farms? I'm jsut a guy with too many farm cards and the need for a 2nd rig, but I refuse to put out the cash for a mix core, and d24s are next to impossible to find!

The cards are actually programmed differently, so you cannot use a Project II as a d24 (the core card in a PT24 system).
