Default IMPORT SESSION DATA TRACK ORDER ISSUE

I'm really sorry if this has been touched on before. I did multiple searches on this issue to avoid redundancy and didn't come up with anything, but I'm sure this isn't the first time this has been an issue with people.

I have DV Toolkit 2 specifically for the enhanced "import session data" features you don't get with vanilla LE. I'm working on a CD that was recorded in Logic and sent to me in various folders corresponding to individual songs. Each the folders of course contain all the wav files (with all the instruments named consistently among the songs) for a song. I created a PT 7.4 session with one of the songs with a LOT of buss routing, using almost all the available busses. When I finish this song and want to mix another song, I create a new PT session out of the next folder's data, then import the session data from the first PT session and all the tracks are totally out of order. Is there some way to retain the track order when doing an "import session data"?

I quite sure this is a newbie issue, so sorry for the redundancy. Hopefully this will benefit other people as well.

Thanks

Scott

I've no experience of OMF transfer if that's what you're talking about here. However, would it not be better to create a session template with the correct track order and routing in place and import the (time stamped) WAV's into that?
