25-24 fps pitch shifting. Does anyone know?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on a film project entitled "Alexandria" that was shot at 25 fps. Picture and Sound editing where completed at 25 Fps. The majority of Screens in Greece - Europe, can only play the film at 24 Fps. After discussion with the film's Sound mixer ( Pro Tools 5.1- mixing for Dolby SR ) we decided that we should pitch shift (UP) the final mix so that when the sound is played at 24 fps at the theaters we would have countered pitching problems associated with playing the film at a slower speed. This works out to 104.1667% pitch shift if we're not mistaken. The questions are. Is this correct? + DOES ANYONE KNOW THE VALUES THAT SHOULD BE FED IN TO THE AUDIOSUITE PLUG-IN TO ACHIEVE THIS PITCH SHIFT? |
