Native Instruments Komplete 8

Sorry for posting this here guys but the native instruments forum is dead


I have somebody who wants to sell me a komplete eight for $250

So is there a fee? To transfer ? Has anyone else done this?

Seems like a good deal but I haven't done this before ! Thanks for the help

Yeah - the NI forums don't get a lot of traffic. That and the fact there's no forum for Komplete itself doesn't help. I did some searching there (been a member there for years) and here's what I found:
You can buy someone's old software in this case Komplete 8 but the seller has to unregister it from his account and it has to be the full product as resales of just a part of the package are not allowed. What is a problem is if the original buyer used K8 to get an upgrade to K9; the sale to you might not be possible and if it was allowed you wouldn't be able to use your newly purchased to upgrade to any new version of Komplete. Same as we have with transfers of PT.
