high pitched hum with1814 when using phantom power
has anyone experienced this? it seems like noise from the CPU gets in the signal path when phantom power is on, am not sure if the mic is the problem or the 1814, coz i used a condenser mic in the past to record vocals and it was all good but now with the AKG its got this high pitched hum with a low freq rumble...i thought firewire wouldn't pick up noise since its all digital...anyweyz any thoughts?
