xpand2 -Instrament tracks fails when collaborating.

I had been collaborating with the same person just fine and then took a month break . When he sent me instrument tracks there was no VU meter or audio. I have discovered that if I open a new expand insert it will play. I think he is having the same issue and can solve it the same way.

What happens if you deactivate the track and then reactivate it?

Have you checked to make sure the track’s MIDI output is still correctly routed to the instrument? There is a known random issue of MIDI assignments getting lost when a session is reopened.
