Default Match Nudge Values to Video Frame rate

Can anyone tell me how to set my nudge value to 25 frames per second - is this possible with LE?

I can't figure out the maths in either mins;sec, beats;bars or samples - can anyone help?

I'm doing sound design and dubbs for post and find the scrubber too imprecise - I can get buy using my eye and finding sync points in Slip mode - but an accurate nudge setting to match my video would be great...

thanks in advance fellow people

You need the DVToolkit to enable TC-based ruler nudge-value and grid in LE.

Otherwise the math is: 1/framerate=length of one frame in seconds.

At 25 fps videorate that would be 40ms.

Set your main counter to TC then change the nudge-value to a desired value by clicking on the nudge-value indicator.

If you don´t know how to change the counter it wouldn´t be a bad idea to read the manual.

Yes but it´s easier to change the nudge-value to 1 frame.

Don't. Just take some time to read the manual. It will answer 98% of your questions. The other 2% Frank will gladly handle!

and Frank does good job of also finding out what SHOULD be in the manual or whether or not something actually WORKS the way it is supposed to.

when i read the section on automation in the manual i felt stupid -- never having worked on a large console. but once i started applying it and then going back, i began to feel smarter.
