using 003 Rack (+) with other DAWs

Hi All,
Someone in the HD forum mentioned that it is possible to use the 003 with other DAWs "via CAD".
I've tried to find info on this CAD option but cannot.
Can anyone give me some more info?
I would ideally like to use it with Logic (and maybe Ableton Live)
