ARC Plugin crashing in Pro Tools

I purchased the ARC plugin by IK Multimedia last week. As soon as I open up the plugin I start to get error messages and soon after Pro Tools shuts down or the whole computer shuts down. I wonder if anyone else is having a similar problem? I'm using Pro Tools LE 7.4.2 with OSX 10.5.4.
