Default 2022.4 Bug when grouping tracks into a stereo folder

Been having the same bug over and over again:

- select one or multiple tracks
- cmd+shift+n -> stereo routing folder

followed by a complete crash of PT.

Humm you might want to post more info like what version of PT 2022.4 and OS and your other system info (like I have set up in my signature line) below

Because I have PT Ultimate 2022.4 set up for testing on an external drive and Monterey OS .
So I just ran some tests as per your post and had no issue
I tested:: several methods

Your method (not really sure why you are selecting tracks first--because as soon as I make the routing folder the tracks become un highlighted and have to be selected and then drug into the folder ??

Any way I selected the tracks > then hit cmd+ shift + n select "stereo" "routing folder" made the Folder no issue then I had to re select the tracks and drag them into the folder and then I had to reroute them to that new folder
But it worked fine no crash

I much prefer this method
Highlight the tracks and Right click,,, select "Move to" ,,, select "New Folder" ,,,select "Stereo > Routing Folder" - check the box "Route Tracks to New Folder" bang they are in the new folder and routed to the folder and it work fine . ????

I was wrong about the shortcut, it's cmd+alt+shift+n.
This way you don't need to drag & drop and the tracks that are being moved automatically get routed to the new folder.

Yes went the other thread and figured that out So that is the same as the right click the track name, method.Gives you the New Folder box
So on the other thread is seems like it is people with older Mac OS versions having the problem ?? what OS are you on ?

Also since this is the Mac OS sub forum I am guessing what you actually mean is ,,,, cmd+option+shift+n

Probably should just go there and post and you might list your system
