Problem with Music Production Toolkit 2 Licensing

Hi,
So I did the $49 upgrade from MPTK 1 to MPTK 2 ... the iLok
license showed up in my iLok account .. I downloaded it and
surrended the MPTK 1 license ... and I can see on my iLok:

Music Production Toolkit 2 Digidesign License Never
Which is cool right?

I downloaded the installer .. ran it .. it say "Install Music Production Toolkit 2"

It does the install (Eleven ... etc etc.).

But, when I start Protools, I get a Authorization dialog for
Music Production Toolkit.

Something's wrong. I tried removing the bundle and then re-installing
it, but it's not working.

What to do?

Just want to confirm this is happening to me too.

Still have Pro Tools MP 7.4.2 installed, downloaded and installed MPTK2 license on my iLok and the new MPTK2 installer on my computer - now I also get the message about the missing MPTK license.

Well well, looks like there will be a couple of days we'll have to do without the MPTK features. Luckily I've got a HD system too...

Same here. No way that Pro Tools 7.4.2 startup without MPTK authorization error. What a PITA! I can't work any longer!

Protools 8 runs fine, but cannot make mptk2 work. Always get the authorization window, although I have the new license on my ilok. I followed digi's recommendations, but no luck. How on earth can I use my purchased mptk2? It's an upgrade, but not working right now.

Denka, why can't you work any longer? You can cancel the MPTK auth screen and proceed into Pro Tools. And Pro Tools 8 has a default track count of 48tracks now. So this is the same as what MPTK1 would have been right? So what is preventing you from doing the same session work from 1 day ago? Am I missing something?

Digi is completely aware of the problem and said they will address it first thing in the morning once they are open.

Premo, look again at my previous post. It's obvious why I can't work any longer. I still have 7.4.2 (still waiting for Digi's Amnesty mail for PT8 as well as for shipment of boxed version from Dolphin.co.uk).

I extracted with Pacifist MusicProductionToolkit.bundle 7.4.2 and placed it instead of 8.0. No help. Obviously, PT looks for MPT1 authorization that is already surrendered with MPT2 license.

That's what I call "great quality control"

We're still working on the Moogerfooger issue, but don't worry - we'll be sure everything works as it should once we determine the best course of action.
