Default Monterey now running well on an old 5.1 Cheesegrater alongside older OS

Just in case anyone is curious, I've got a couple of 5.1 2009/2010 cheesegraters & have successfully got them now tripple-booting

1) Mavericks - for Pro Tools 10HD legacy sessions
2) High Sierra/Mojave - Pro Tools Ultimate
3) Monterey - for current Apple apps & future compatibility

I fiddled around trying to do it myself, & in the end gave up & got a Mac Jedi called Mike who lives in Lincolnshire U.K to upgrade the two machines.

Happy to put you in contact if you D.M me

Cheers

I use Big Sur 11.6.4 exclusively on my 2010 5,1. Running PT 2021.12 HDX with no issues at all. No need to go to Monterey yet since PT doesn’t really work (not for real production) yet.
