you can 'prepare' ... that is change the existing routing or add .... all assignments you want, .... for them to take effect however in some cases you need to stop. Input and output assignments and sends will take become effective as soon as you stop.

In short .. yes. Same for Pre/Post send rounting.
Wouldn't it be great to be able to automate all routing? (Let alone change during playback). I'm fairly certain that digi knows this, but as I understand it, the ability to do this is dependent upon some serious re-doing of current PT technology. I wouldn't hold my breath. But we can all wish for it and add it to our lists of hoped for upgrades. Peace,
