update Mbox 2, 6.8.1

I have a problem.
My Mbox2 version 6.8.1 works really bad. I know I have to upgrade, but I've read that the new 7.3 isn't compatible with Mbox2..
Is there a way I can download an older version that would get my pro tools work any better or is there something I don't understand???
