Help sequencing the Motif 6 with Protools 6.2.2

Help sequencing the Motif 6 with Protools 6.2.2

Does anyone know how to set up midi connections motif 6 with Protools 6? I know how to use the motif as a midi controller (I use it now to control Reason 2.5). But now i want to use my motif's sounds- via midi recording.

When i record the midi data, i can hear the motif. But when I set up Protools to use the midi data to trigger the motif so it can record the audio to an audio track, the midi track does not trigger the motif. I during play back I can see the sound meter move accordingly as it moves across the previously recorded midi data. but for some reason the midi data is not triggering the motif tone generator.

If anyone has experience using the motif in sequence with Protools. Please help me.

nope I never had this problem. Sometimes my audio wont play after I mute and unmute an AUX channel untill I move the sliders a lil bit. Make sure you have your send and recieves set up correcly both in the Mo and in ProTools.

I am trying to use my Motif to control Reason 2.5 as well. can you help me out with this?
