Default HDX card and interfaces: ports and daisy chaining

"The HDX card provides two DigiLink Mini ports for connecting up to four compatible HD or MTRX audio interfaces for up to 64 channels of audio input and output"

No info after reading the HDX guide and google and DUC forum search. Therefore, turning to you folks

1. I installed an HDX card in a WIndows PC for tracking ONLY (@48k during simultaneous video recording sessions or 96k or 192k at audio-only sessions). I don't intend to mix with only 1 HDX card
2. I have the following interfaces to connect:
One (1) HD IO
Two (2) 192 IO
One (1) HD MADI - I only 16 channels are needed to send via coax to a MADI capable video mixer for live streaming
16 inputs on HD and 192s, each one = total potential is 48 channels input but probably will use 25 max.
8 outputs during tracking from the HD IO: 2 for stereo monitoring and 8 for headphone mixes during tracking

QUESTIONS:
1. Since the HDX card has two mini Digi link ports, how do connect the above interfaces? Would I just daisy chain all of them on one port
or would I perhaps put the HD IO and 192 IOs on one port and MADI on the 2nd port (since the IOs are for tracking/monitoring and MADI for out only) ?

Perhaps 64 channels means 32 channels per mini digi link port. Therefore, since up to 4 interfaces are allowed, I connect 2 interfaces on each port, I.e.. HD and 192io on one port and 192io and MADI on the 2nd port

2. I am assuming that I connect all of the interfaces with 75ohm coax as with a TDM system for loop sync. Please confirm.
Thank you

Yes, all of these devices include Loop Sync - so make a big chain with that.

You could do this:
HDX Port 1 -> HD IO primary -> connect to 192 IO via expansion
HDX Port 2 -> HD MADI primary

best,

Jeff

Thank you for your response.

I have TWO 192io

Do I put the 2nd one before the MADI (Which has only primary ports)

or put the 2nd 192io onto the expansion port of the first 192io which is attached to the HDio

You have run out of connections! Each DigiLink pipe is only 32 channels. In the above example, you are connecting an HD IO + a 192 IO to port 1 for 32 channels. Next you are connecting essentially half of an HD MADI to port 2 of the HDX card for a maximum of 32 channels of IO via MADI.

best,

Jeff

Thank you so much, Jeff.

For some reason though I had read its manual, I had thought the MADI was 32 channels, 16 channels a port. I re-read the manual and it is 32 channels per port for a maximum of 64 channels. My apologizes for my mistake.
