Default Reason does not show up in plug-in list

Hi there,

How do I launch Reason (full version) from Pro Tools LE? Reason Adapted shows up on the Inserts > multi-channel plug-in lists but not my REASON 2.5. Is there a way to browse and tell PT where my Reason is?

Thanks very much,

Chuck

if you have 2 versions of reason installed on your machine, you may have a conflict.

I'd uninstall both versions, look for any files, or directories not cleaned by the uninstallers in Program Files, and delete them.

Then, I'd go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\DAE Prefs

And delete the contents of this folder.

Then...

Re-Install Reason 2.5 Full

Open, authorize reason, insert the Orchester, and factory soundbanks when and if prompted, make sure it's running and authorized.

Re-Boot.

Open up pro-tools, and see if that helped.

thanks- i'll give that a try!

it might take me a while to dig up my old Reason disks but i'll do it. I was worried that Reason Full wouldn't be compatible or something.

i'll let you know if it works!
