SoundJam won't "see" wav's bounced in PT LE 5.1?

I bounced a bunch of stereo interleaved 16 bit/44.1 khz .wav files in PT 5.1 LE, tried dragging them into SoundJam Plus 2.5.3 to batch convert into .mp3...and nothing happened. Blank Master Playlist, blank converter window. Nothing else was open, so no conflict there.

Anyone have this problem? A fix?

Do you have a paid copy of SoundJam?

The free one is only good for 30 converts.

Otherwise, re-check you BTD settings, or try using iTunes.

soundjam is the only application I've got that won't work with the soundmanager I/O drivers properly. I think it's not as good as people say it is, All it's good for these days is recording a long live set by a band your into off the radio as an mp3, even this won't playback while your using the digidesign soundmanager driver but you can drag the mp3 you've made over any other compatable application and it will play it back fine. This is just one problem, not recognising files, even though they are the correct type is another, you could try changing the creator of the file to soundjam using resedit and see if that works.

I like soundjam but it does have it's problems, It's like internet explorer, so good in so many ways that you use it but there's enough annoying quirks to it that you'd use something else instead if you'd found an alternative.

iTunes does 99% of what soundjam does and it's a lot slicker so I'd go with that and see if it works.

SoundJam should be able to play Wave files.
I can't figure what's wrong with your SJ.

1. You can desable SoundJam extension.
2. So you have SJ Plus v 2.5.3??
3. What OS? which mac??

Just a hunch...

First, Open your File Exchange Control Panel
PC Exchange
PC Extension
wav
navigate to Sound Jam

If that doesn't help, you can set them to open with QuickTime.
Try your QuickTime Settings Control Panel
Check to make sure QuickTime Exchange is enabled
then...
Browser Plug-in/MIME Settings
Audio/Wave
play with those settings, see if anything makes a difference.

Update Check
Update and install additional QuickTime software
Update all.

The check your Extensions (disabled) folder to see if you have any of the QuickTime extensions disabled.

Put make sure these are all in the Extensions folder.
