Default Upgrade Killed previous sessions..

I was working on a session prior to 10.3.3 (was on 10.3.2)

Since the update I cant load any of my previous sessions.
keep getting "out of memory" message, - or access violation.
Tried several of the backup files also.

Anyone encounterd this before?

Cheers

not sure what else to tell you.
I literally get a PT popup, saying "out of memory"
Its not a particularly busy session either, ive much bigger sessions..

The session im working on now, is 3 times as big (over 100 tracks) and full of plugs, and that loads just fine.

All audio files are there, and they play, no "zero" null files to be found.
about 4 native plugs are used in this session, everything else is outboard HW or UAD2

normally I update when its safe to do so, but I though the client was done, now a few changes need to be made hence the re-work and re-load

And the anoying thing, - is I have to reboot every time..

BUMP (please)

Further investigation, I cant even open the orignal scratch version they did a year ago..
It seems to be just this "song folder"??

Ive since loaded about 5 other sessions all OK.
So its unique to this one..

Since its only one session, that narrows it down a bit. I suspect one of two things here; either a corrupted session, or a bad plugin. Start by holding the SHIFT key while you open the session. That makes all plugins inactive(but you don't lose any settings). If the session will open and run this way, then its a plugin, and you will need to make them active and see which causes an issue(how I would do it is; hold the Alt key and make any plugin on the first row active, save, close, re-open. If it crashes, then you know its one of the that batch of plugins. If it runs fine, move to the next row). Another trick to try, create a new session and import session data from the trouble session(an additional option is to create your new session at a different sample rate and convert on import(IOW, if the original session is 48K, make the new one 44.1K). The conversion re-writes the audio files and that MIGHT solve a corrupt audio issue. It has worked for me in the past, but its tough to say if you are suffering the same issue.

Thanks for your help
turned out to be Nomad factorys "Echos" at fault. - but strangely, it works on a audio track, but only crashes on a aux track..

So not a clue as to why, when ive been using it for a while.
will re-install it another time now though, least I have a fix. (thankyou)
