Hope I'm not the only one here...
Has anyone else encountered a situation where PT10 will open as normal, but will not open a session via File-> Open or double-clicking the .ptx file. After I restart my computer, everything works normally. This happens on a variety of sessions, and when the sessions open, everything works perfectly. Not a huge deal, but is anyone else out there experiencing the same issue? **NOTE** PT10 will hang and beachball when attempting to open the session. The only way out of it is a Force Quit and a restart.. |

Try holding the SHIFT key while opening one of these sessions. That will disable all plugins. If the session opens, then you have a plugin that needs updating. Got my fingers crossed it that simple

It happens even before I press shift. This also happens when opening a session that has no plug-ins at all. The same session would open after a restart, which is weird.
